2015 was a tough year in terms of WWE injuries and the company saw some of their brightest stars go down right before the Road to WrestleMania. Two of those athletes, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton, are set to return in the coming months.
Randy Orton has been out since the winter and the WWE has sorely missed his character. There aren’t many athletes that can fluidly transition between heel & face like Orton can, which is why Chris Jericho is getting all of his storylines, and with the influx of NXT & indie talent hitting the main roster they can surely use his veteran presence.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided updates on both WWE superstars.
Randy Orton’s rehab is reportedly going much slower than expected and the word is that he could start training for a return to the ring at the WWE Performance Center sometime in mid-June.
