Steph Curry is a man on a mission. He’s the league’s back to back MVP, he lead his team to a record breaking 73-9 record and now he has topped his biggest competitors off the court. Rumor was that Steph Curry’s biggest reason for signing his shoe deal with Under Armour over Nike was because Nike wouldn’t allow him to post his favorite bible verse on his shoes. Nike maybe regretting that just a little bit now.
Steph is a man of faith and his signature shoes where part of him expressing his beliefs. Curry’s sneakers were stamped with Phillippians 4:13 which reads “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me”.
Now, according to TheShoeGame.com, Under Armor and Steph Curry are on pace to sell more than all Nike athletes with his signature shoe. In fact, he’s on pace to sell more than KD, Kobe and Kyrie Irving combined.
The total sales will come down to who wins the NBA Championship this year. With the Cavs and Warriors as the heavy favorites to meet in the finals, Nike or Under Armour sales will sky-rocket when fans go out and buy their favorite pair of Lebron James or Steph Curry sneaker.
