If you don’t know who Anthony Joshua is yet don’t be ashamed, he’s relatively new to the United States audience but in the U.K. he’s already a superstar and for good reason. Joshua is one of the brightest young stars in boxing and with the sport hungry for another great heavyweight champion, he looks the part.
In his last fight, Joshua made quick work of Charles Martin in April to capture the IBF heavyweight title and catapult him amongst the elite heavyweight boxers in the world.

It’s not like Joshua needed that KO to solidify his place in boxing. He has an Olympic gold medal and a huge following in the UK.
This weekend we see Amir Khan take on Canelo Alvarez in a marquee PPV and Joshua’s star is much brighter than that of Khan. His Showtime will solidify him as a huge PPV draw in the United States and set up the possible mega-fight between him & PBC’s Deontay Wilder.
