Sports fans can be passionate and a bit over-possessive at times — usually get antsy or offended when their favorites star dabbles in leagues or companies outside of their own.
Brock Lesnar is a guy that just wants to collect his millions and live in comfort — without the internet or cell phone at times.
On a conference call to promote his return to the octagon — with a match at UFC 200 — Lesnar was asked about his popularity possibly “lessening” due to WWE fans not feeling his one night jump to the UFC.
“I really don’t give a s–t,” Lesnar said during a media conference call Thursday.
“Honestly, I really don’t care. This isn’t about my fans. This is about me living my life, being the person I want to be,” Lesnar said. “Granted, without the fans and everything, none of us would be able to do this, I get that.”
Did you expect his response to be anything but a body slam. Lesnar has a right to do what makes him happy — while both entities are great entertainment, and won’t affect either companies bottom line.
Lesnar reportedly had the same response to Stephanie McMahon saying that the WWE wasn’t “necessarily” supporting his return from a business standpoint.
