Lil’ Wayne really needs to lay off the drugs.
TMZ is reporting Wayne ingested copious amounts of ‘lean’ (codeine laced soda) the night before his plane was forced to land twice due to multiple seizures:
We’re told Weezy was cruising around with five 16 oz bottles of Promethazine/Codeine syrup during his club appearance in Milwaukee over the weekend … with one onlooker telling us Wayne downed 3 bottles just by himself.
We’re told he continued sipping during the after-party.
Wayne previously stated he was done with the stuff citing a history with epilepsy and seizures, but obviously if you listen to his music, or see him in the club; you’d assume that hasn’t been true for a minute now.
I don’t know what the hype about lean is, but it seems like, to some; it’s worth the risk of addiction/overdosing…especially in hip hop.
