Details on James Harden’s Confusion of Not Making All NBA Team

More times that not, if you put up numbers 29 points, 7.5 assists, and 6.1 rebounds per game, you’re bound to make one of the All-NBA teams.

Well, that’s unless you’re James Harden.

According to he’s confused about it, as he let Jason Terry know about is on his new SiriusXM NBA Radio show.

I mean, there’s no answer for me. I don’t know. That’s something that I’ve been thinking about… But like I said, man, you know, it wasn’t a good year.

He may be on to something. Technically being on the All NBA team isn’t generally about team success, as it is awarded to the best individual players at their position. Harden had the numbers, and his team did make the playoffs– albeit on the last day of the regular season.

But, he didn’t show up to training camp in shape, and he lead a team that was inconsistent from opening night. And we can’t forget the atrocity that he calls defense.

The guards that he finished behind were on teams that exceeded expectations overall partly due to their leadership, whereas the Rockets did the opposite.

There may be a ray of hope with new HC Mike D’Antoni coming into the fold– and Dwight Howard likely being elsewhere. Maybe he can get that old thing back.
