Yesterday we wrote about the thousands of dollars that one of Steph Curry’s game-worn mouth guards will fetch once it goes up for auction in August. Today, that very same accessory is going to cost him.
Near the end of the Warriors’ Game 6 loss last night, a frustrated Curry flung his mouth guard into the stands after being called for his sixth foul. Today, the NBA announced that the action will cost the MVP $25,000.
Additionally, Coach Steve Kerr was slapped with a $25,000 fine for publicly criticizing the officiating during a post-game press conference.
