Kanye West was scheduled to headline NYC’s Governors Ball music festival on Sunday night but the show was cancelled due to inclement weather. Fans flocked to Twitter to voice their displeasure, but the “Real Friends” rapper worked with his staff to try and schedule a last minute show at NYC’s Webster Hall.
And, according to Yeezy’s Twitter account, the show was a go…

Approximately 4,000 people gathered in the East Village, near Webster Hall and the scene was crazy, as one would imagine. According to E News when Yeezy showed up fans stood on top of cars, dumpsters and scaffolding chanting, “Pablo! Pablo!”
However at 1:45 am, Webster Hall’s Twitter account sent the following message:
There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely.

Kudos to Ye for trying to give his fans a show, and lucky for everyone this didn’t escalate into anything too serious. That many people huddled together at 1:00 am hoping to get into a show could get very dangerous.
There was a lot of video and images taken from last night’s scene, check it out!
