Man, with the NBA finals going on along with the announcement of both the death of Muhammad Ali and the return of Brock Lesnar to the UFC, it’s pretty much been a roller coaster ride of emotions in the world of sports this past weekend.
But the news doesn’t stop there. According to Jeremy Botter of FloCombat, CM Punk’s official debut in the UFC may be scheduled for UFC 202 in August. Here’s the tweet from the ‘not so happy’ Botter:
Oh. And CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall is targeted for August 20. Same night as Diaz/McGregor. Hope I didn’t ruin any announcements.

Remember guys, Punk left WWE in 2014 to seek greener pastures in the UFC. He has yet to throw one punch in the octagon since his signing so it’ll be interesting to see whether fans even care at this moment in time.
