Somebody is in trouble for this one!
The SEC got the NFL treatment on social media Saturday — as the conference had its twitter account hacked and some inappropriate booty pictures were tweeted out.
They were quickly removed and the league released this statement.
“We became aware of it when we saw some retweets,” SEC spokesman Herb Vincent said in a statement. “The images were removed immediately, our password changed and we notified Twitter. We will, of course, continue to monitor the account closely today.”
The NFL’s Twitter account was recently hacked as well — with the hackers tweeting out that Roger Goodell was dead.
