Shaq Wants 4-Star Son to Lean Towards This College

Shaq has college preference for son Shareef O'Neal

In case you weren’t aware, NBA great, Shaquille O’Neal, has a son that’s pretty damn good in his own right.

His name is Shareef O’Neal.

Shareef is apart of the 2018 class, so he still has time before making a college decision.

However, Shaq has a preference for his seed. 

“My dad actually wants me to lean towards Kentucky,” O’Neal told Sean Scherer of 247Sports.

As of right now, Shareef holds offers from Arizona, Baylor, California, Kansas State, UCLA, USC and LSU.

When Shaq was asked if he’d like his son to attend his alma mater LSU, the hall of famer delivered the cliche response.

“No, I want him to be able to create his own path,” Shaq said, “however, he did mention to me Kentucky, Michigan State or Duke.”
