Teams can’t officially start negotiations with free agents until July 1, but that isn’t stopping rumors from flying around the NBA circles.
After trading for former MVP Derrick Rose, the New York Knicks are looking to bring along one of his old running mates.
According to Bryan Flaherty of the Washington Post, Joakim Noah should be a Knick sooner rather than later.
Noah is expected to sign with the Knicks soon after the beginning of free agency with a starting salary in the $18 million per year range.
Noah has a meeting set with Phil Jackson shortly after midnight on July 1st.
