Despite his suspension from the NFL and lingering drug issues — another league believes they can help turn Johnny Manziel and prepare for a return to the league.
Arena Football League commissioner Scott Butera told TMZ Sports that the league would welcome the former Heisman winner if he’s committed to a return to football.
“We could provide a strong platform for him to demonstrate that he is back,” the commissioner told TMZ Sports. “We would also work with him and provide him whatever help he needed to live a healthy life.”
Manziel has yet to respond to Butera’s offer — but should be in his second day of sobriety according ot his own words.
