Jon Jones and his team were hoping that the B-sample test would show that Jon hadn’t taken any PEDs, instead the test confirmed his A-sample.
Yahoo! Sports reached out to USADA and received this information regarding Jones’s B-sample test:
“I can confirm that Mr. Jones’ B sample results have been reported by the laboratory, and that the results confirm the findings of the A sample.”
Jon Jones will now have to track down the supplement that led to the failed test and ask for a reduced punishment. It’s the beginning of a long road for Jones but he brought it upon himself.
