Free agent Luol Deng has reached agreement on a four-year, $72 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources tell The Vertical.

At the core — it’s a solid move — with the 31-year-old Deng being well respected around the league — and is just the veteran presence Luke Walton can use to bring the young core together.
Last season with the Heat, Deng averaged 12.3 points, six rebounds, 1.9 assists and a steal a game.
