The NBA has star power, and with that comes all types of intriguing options for the NBA regular season schedule.
The 2016-17 NBA schedule will be revealed in the next week or so, and Carmelo Anthony all but guaranteed the New York Knicks will face the Chicago Bulls — either on opening night or Christmas Day.
Melo, on if it's almost a guarantee Knicks will either open season vs Bulls, or play them on Christmas, after FA moves: "One of those two."

The names and personalities involved, make it so the matchup has to happen. Can you imagine opening night of the NBA season, and Derrick Rose has to return home with Joakim Noah and company, to face Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo and a Bulls team that now belongs to Jimmy Butler?
