Maybe it was something in the air but the Nick Foles experiment with Rams just never worked out which led to him being released today.
Rams granted QB Nick Foles' request to be released, per source. Now a free agent.

Now that he’s a free agent, there should be a decent size market for Foles. There is a small sample size of work from Foles for us to base his career off of. Many hold on to the 69.0 passer rating and only 7 touchdowns in 2015 but I look at the 27 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions he had in 2013 while with the Eagles. With that in mind, here are five teams that should get Foles’ agent on the line as soon as possible.
1- Pittsburgh Steelers
Going to Pittsburgh could be perfect for Foles. He would have the chance to learn from a future Hall Of Famer with no pressure to play. Ben Roethlisberger does get beat up from time to time and with Michael Vick no longer on the roster, Foles would be a value replacement for Big Ben if he gets banged up during the season.
