Taylor Swift’s BFF Selena Gomez did her best to come to Swift’s defense during Sunday night’s social media firestorm between Swift and Kim Kardashian after the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Refusing to sit in virtual silence, Gomez jumped on twitter to throw a subliminal dart at Kardashian and West.
Not stopping there, Gomez posted two additional tweets.
Users from all over the spectrum called out Gomez on what they perceived to be hypocrisy for not using platform to take a stance on societal issues like Black Lives Matter, police brutality, victims of mass violence over seas and gun control. One user received the brunt of the “Hands To Myself” singer when she clapped with an anti-BLM sounding tweet that she ultimately deleted.
