Social media will likely be scattered with memes of an emotional Dwight Howard circulating for the next few days.
The veteran big man usually puts on a happy face anytime he switches teams, but today during his introductory press conference for the Atlanta Hawks — Howard was brought to tears.
“This is a real new beginning for me, and I’m happy to share that with my loved ones,” he said, before he paused to regain his composure. “Oh man. There’s gonna be some memes.”
