Superstars with managers were eligible to be drafted together at the WWE Draft, but one manager wasn’t mentioned with his protégé.
According to PW Mania via Wrestling News Observer, the reason why Heyman wasn’t mentioned with Brock Lesnar when he was drafted to Raw is because his contract has expired.
“Heyman’s contract with WWE has expired and at this point the sides haven’t come to an agreement for a renewal, so he was never mentioned as coming to Raw with Lesnar,” Meltzer stated in the Observer.
Although Heyman is still listed as an active superstar on their website, his future remains in the air especially with Lesnar’s recent failed drug test and WWE is still unsure how to handle the situation.
