Baylor football player Ishmael Zamora has been suspended three games after video surfaced showing him beating his dog.n
Baylor’s interim Head Coach Jom Grone stated:
Our football program does not condone this behavior by anyone. We are deeply saddened by it and have worked together with the University to hold Ishmael accountable for his actions.
Zamora has also been assigned community service and must undergo counseling. He must hand over th e pet to an animal friendly home. Zamora has expressed remorse, stating that he loves his dog but realizes his actions suggest otherwise.
Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
