Looks like someone else will cash in on Birdman before Lil Wayne has his day.
According to TMZ, Cash Money and Lil Wayne are being held responsible $ 3.3 million judgment for sampling “obscure” songs in two Cash Money tracks. Court documents state that writers haven’t been paid for the Lloyd ft. Lil Wayne track ‘You’ and the Glasses Malone ft. Akon track ‘Certified.
The judgement comes at a time when Birdman and Lil Wayne continue to be at odds with Weezy seeking $51 million dollars from Birman. That case is still pending.
