The Eagles this offseason signed Johnson to a contract extension through 2021 worth $59 million, and $35.5 million guaranteed.
According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report — If Johnson is suspended, he would need to return a prorated portion of the guaranteed money he already received from the new deal — while losing future guaranteed money via a void.
