Eva Marie was getting a major push from the SmackDown brand before being suspended last week for violation of the WWE’s wellness program.
Eva’s suspension has left a hole in the women’s SummerSlam 6-woman tag match. Reports have that hole filled by a very familiar WWE superstar.
Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned it’s only a matter of time before we see Nikki Bella back in aWWE ring … because doctors have officially cleared her for a return.
As we previously reported, Nikki started training again last month and was waiting to get the green light from WWE’s medical staff. We’re told that’s finally happened.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Nikki Bella has arrived in NYC and will stand in for Eva tonight.
Nikki would fit in nicely with the Smackdown women, considering Cena is on the brand and that they need someone to give their upcoming belt legitimacy.
