It’s been a rough two weeks for the Clemson football team. There were high expectations coming into the season with returning QB Dashaun Watson, after the team finished with a pretty good showing in the National Championship last season against Alabama.
However, after two weeks into the new college football season, it’s clear that this isn’t the same Clemson team. For starters, Watson is only completing 52.9% of his passes. This is a far cry from the 67.8% that he boasted last season. Against Troy, Watson threw the ball 53 times. When your QB has to throw the ball that much on any level, it’s not a good sign.
That’s not where ends, however. Let’s discuss Clemson’s second major issue as we flip the page.
