Doug Pederson is currently addressing the Philadelphia media, and to no surprise, he named No. 2 overall pick, Carson Wentz the starter for week 1.

Asked abut Chase Daniel’s, Pederson confirmed he’d be the backup.
Pederson: Chase Daniel is a team guy. He's been a great mentor. He will be a good No. 2 QB.

The question now has to be asked — is Wentz ready for the fire of the NFL and Philadelphia most importantly?
After spending months insisting that the rookie quarterback would spend his entire first season as a pro essentially redshirting — the Eagles blew the whole thing up and handed him the keys.
This comes days after the shocking trade of Sam Bradford to the Vikings, and the bypassing of Chase Daniels, who was brought in from Kansas City.
Wentz was selected No. 2 for a reason though, and the Eagles traded up, so Doug Pederson and Howie Roseman, must believe he has the stuff legends are made out of.
