AT&T CEO Explains Why You Shouldn’t Say ‘All Lives Matter’ (Video)

randall_stephensonThe phrase Black Lives Matter always had an implicit too at the end of the phrase, but there are some white people who purposely choose to ignore the core message.  Instead, when Black Lives Matter is uttered, All Lives Matter is often the response received used to discredit and demonize a phrase that is simply a call for equality.

In the video below, AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson addresses the fallacy of the All Lives Matter crowd at an ERG conference, where he explains why saying All Lives Matter is divisive, dismissive, and destructive.

It’s not surprising that the loudest applause from the audience came from the black people in attendance. Black people are simply tired of hearing All Lives Matter, after calling for equality and justice for all people. The Black Lives Matter movement is not a difficult concept to understand, and support from prominent people like Randall Stephenson will help bridge the gap in understanding.
