Word I'm hearing out of Cleveland is that RG3 is hurt. And could be out for a while. More to come. @NFLonFOX

Since RG3 has missed several games with injury over the years, the Browns’ organization’s worst fears might be coming to fruition. This has not yet been confirmed, and there are no further details on Griffin’s injury or how many games he could miss.
On the other hand, NBC Sports reported yesterday that Griffin himself said the injury wasn’t serious and he would be fine for week 2. However, Griffin went for an MRI Monday, and there is a possibility that things could’ve changed after the results of the MRI.

If Griffin does end up having serious injury, Josh McCown is listed as the backup. We will update you on any changed to Griffin’s status for week 2.
