Dallas Cowboys star WR has been frustrated by injuries the better part of the last two seasons, and went down again last week with what looked to be a serious knee injury.
He was scheduled to go to the Cowboys facility for treatment & an MRI to see what the extent of the damage was, and was instead nowhere to be found; with nothing to be reported on his knee until yesterday.
Now Bryant is telling his side of the story:
Dez Bryant’s phone died Mon. He needed some time to himself. Didn’t plug it back in. “I could have done a way better job” handling situation

Dez Bryant: “Luckily [MRI results were] way better than I thought. Everything’s good. Ready to get back on the field whenever that time is.”

Dez: “I love the Dallas Cowboys from each & every angle…I didn’t want to know what the issue was.” Wishes he would’ve handled differently

Dez Bryant says plan is to be smart w/ injury. He trusts his teammates. “I feel good. I feel better. My mind is right. It’s a long season.”

Dez Bryant: “We got good things going on and we just want to keep that rolling.”

Dez Bryant: “We want to be safe. It’s a long season. I feel good. We’re just going to go from there.”

Many people do this with paying bills, or taking that phone call from someone you know is trying to scream your head off. If you don’t open the mail or answer the call; it’s almost like it hasn’t come. We are all probably guilty of this, but because Dez Bryant is the star WR of the Dallas Cowboys, such actions probably wouldn’t (and didn’t) go over well with his team.
Bryant hasn’t ruled himself out for Sunday, however has said he will continue to “be smart” going forward in regards to his injury.
