Fat Joe decided that today was the day he was going to share his position on fighting against social injustice and the right way to fight for racial equality. According to his tweet, it’s disrespectful to kneel during the national anthem because it disrespects the soldiers that have fought for our freedom.
In sharing his views on Twitter, it appears that Fat Joe also forgot to use spell check.
Joe immediately deleted the tweet and followed it up with this:
In order to create change, people must lead with actions, opposed to creating reactions.

I’m not quite sure what any of this means. Fat Joe is a rapper and has never even addressed civil rights and social injustice. He has never once offered a solution, yet in a time when someone actually is voicing their opinions and following it by action, Joe has decided to be a Twitter philosopher. It’s strange how everyone has decided to be a critic of Kaepernick’s method of protest, yet no one has offered a “better” way to go about protesting.
