When Colin Kaepernick decided to not stand for the national anthem, he did it for reasons bigger than him.
Considering all of the injustice and racial tension that clearly exist in our country, Kaepernick wouldn’t feel right standing for a country that allows events like this to happen without justice being served.
Now, other athletes are following Kaepernick’s lead.
