As the NFL season is getting closer, teams are finalizing their roster by cutting player day after day. One player that was recently cut from the Washington Redskins, decided that the defense was “trash” as he threw his playbook in the dumpster near the Redskins Park. That player would be linebacker Ejiro Ederaine as he was cut during the first rounds in August. A listener named Josh called an local Washington sports show Washington’s 106.7 The Fan “The Sports Junkies” called in to report that he found three copies with Ederaine name on it. Josh said he was cleaning out his truck when he found playbooks next to some Redskins gear.
The caller says in the audio below:
“I can tell you guys, it actually has two different — so it has what you do in a hot route, what his assignment would have been, what the guy next to him’s assignment would have been, it has breakdowns and handwritten things of the new calls, like the defense changed the call or whatever. He scratched it out and put the new verbiage for it. I mean it’s got everything.”
