Alexandra Drake, has filed a suit against her former supervisor & officer. Michael Masella has been accused of openly admitting he wants to take sexual advantage of the women he pulls over.
During their training, Masella and Drake conducted traffic stops — and Masella often remarked about female drivers he found attractive.
After one stop, he told Drake he wished he could just take those women out of their cars and “rape” them, rather than issuing a citation, the complaint says.
He also revealed he had a “rapability” scale for those drivers, and asked Drake if she thought one driver was “rapabable,” according to the complaint.
Drake began working alongside Masella in 2013. She claims fear was the reason she did not come forward with the information sooner. She also feared that no one would believe her case because he was a superior and a male figure. Possible harassment was another reason for withholding the information. Believing that with one slip up, it could kill her career.
Her fears, of course, came true. Drake was off duty when Masella paid a visit to her home. Claiming it was a coincidence when running into her during her morning workout. Masella continued the harassment with a surprise visit to Drake’s home. Reports claimed he asked if she was naked.
The New Boston Police department has not looked into Drake’s case and allowed Masella to remain active in the force. According to Masella’s lawyer, this is an excuse to explain her termination.
No further news have been released on if this case will reach trial.
