The first quarter of the NFL season has come and gone. For many teams, this is a time to improve on what they’ve already built, but for others, this is a time to find themselves before heading into the second quarter. As far as the New York Giants are concerned, they need to figure out how to refrain Odell Beckham Jr. from having sideline temper tantrums.
The reoccurring theme of the young season has been complaints from OBJ. He claims referees are targeting him and one of his best friends, DeAndre Jordan, believes the people around him don’t have his best interest in mind.
“They’re picking on him, giving him a hard time,” Jordan told TMZ.
Nonetheless, Jordan made headlines with his next remark, in which he claims OBJ would be better off playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
Ironically, last summer, Jordan verbally agreed to play for his hometown Dallas Mavericks before going back on his word and ultimately staying in Los Angeles.
Beckham Jr. doesn’t hit the free agent market until 2018.
