Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson was fined $6K for wearing cleats that depicted yellow caution tape on Oct. 2 vs. the Browns — but he’s not tripping over it.
Jackson had initially planned to wear the cleats only during pregame, but chose to keep them on all game. The Jaccpot CEO says he’s cool with the fine, as he just wanted to get his message out.
“It’s cool, man,” Jackson said of the fine. “My message and what I wanted to get across was more of the case for that, so I wasn’t worried about that [fine].”
Jackson said he wants to do more — like conduct seminars and after-school programs in the offseason.
