As the NBA season starts next Wednesday, fans will see a lot of new faces in new jersey’s this year. One of the biggest moves this offseason is when Dwyane Wade left the Miami Heat to go back home to the Chicago Bulls, after the Heat and 3 time champion couldn’t agree on contract terms. But Wade still have love for his former team, as he hasn’t ruled out a possible return to the team,
RN: Will you ever play another game for the Miami Heat?
Wade: I don’t know. I never thought I would not be there. At this point in my career, I’ve been asked that, and it’s not a focus of mine. I’m happy where I am. I gave Miami everything I had for 13 years. The years I have left, hopefully I can give as much to Chicago. You never know what the future holds so you never want to say yes or no. Anything is possible. But, I’m cool right now. I’m good.
Could you imagine the Wade returning to the Heat? Could Pat Riley patch up the relationship to make Miami a possible destination for Wade once again? Maybe he would return as being a mentor to the young team. Similar to Kevin Garnett returning to the T-wolves at the downfall of his career. Wade is the probably the best Miami Heat Player of all time, so it would be nice to see him retire in a Heat uniform.
