Crooner Frank Ocean is notoriously private. In the age of over sharing on social media, Ocean does not have Instagram or Twitter accounts, and even has an unverified Facebook account. Prior to Tuesday night, the singer’s last interview was back in 2012.
What is surprising is that the interview was not with MTV, Revolt TV, Bet, or VH-1. Instead, Ocean spoke with C-Span at the White House during the Obamas’ last State Dinner. Joined by his mother as his date and sporting Vans, the reclusive singer gave a short and sweet interview where he answered a few non-music related questions.
When asked if he will be doing any performances in support of Hilary Clinton, Ocean stated, “We’re running out of time, I think. Might have to catch you in four years.”
Sounds like he’s pretty confident Mrs. Clinton will be elected the new Commander-in-Chief next month. Flip the page to watch the interview.
