There’s a time and a place for a good selfiebut for a Texas A&M freshman what will live on as her most famous selfie to date came at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong outcome.
According to US Weekly, Miranda Kay Radar was attempting to take a topless selfie for her boyfriend in Bryan, Texas and ended up rear-ending a parked police car. The patrol car, assigned to Officer John Sartell of the Bryan PD, was in the area responding to a disturbance call when Radar slammed into him. When he went to investigate why she hit him, he noticed she was attempting to put her bra on and there was an open bottle of wine in the center console.
Radar was charged with driving while intoxicated with an open container and ticketed for being a minor in possession of alcohol. She was released on $2,000 bond. To ensure she learned her lesson the Bryan PD tweeted her mug shot with the caption:
“Don’t Drink and Drive! Don’t #snapchat photos to your boyfriend and drive.”
