It is safe to say that Jennifer Lopez is no longer “Jenny from the block”. The pop star’s resume has exceedingly grown this year. She is selling out shows nightly in Las Vegas and her NBC cop drama ‘Shades of Blue’ keeps her busy. But somehow, she found time to star in another NBC series.
The show’s plot is going to surround a very far fetch sci-fi theme. It is a futuristic drama involving DNA hackers. The network claims “that explores the next generation of terror: DNA hacking.” This idea is already out of the box and a little hard to envision.
The show’s name, however, is a mouthful. ‘C.R.I.S.P.R.’ will be the acronym for “clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats.” We hope the show does well for Ms. Lopez. It just might be a little much for television.
