Does Jerry Jones like QB competition?
Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to their fifth straight victory by beating the Packers and continues to prove why he’s their future.
But, where does that leave Tony Romo? Jerry Jones explains.
“There’s nothing I’d rather do than go into [the] last half of the season with a ready-to-go Tony Romo and a winning Dak Prescott,” Jones said, via Ed Werder of ESPN. “I dream of being able to make that decision. We are not there yet by the way. We are not there.”
If I were Romo, I’d be worried about losing my job as a starter. Jones seems to have made up his mind on who his quarterback will be moving forward when Romo returns. As long as Prescott continues to lead the Cowboys to victory, you have to stick with what is working right now.
