President Barack Obama’s time in office is running out, but that isn’t stopping Netflix from releasing the first teaser of “Barry”, which is the streaming service’s film about the young Obama.
The film is set to air December 16.
Acting as Obama is Devon Terrell, who is performing in his first major project. In the film, Obama is attending Columbia University in the early 1980s. According to the film’s official description, this is how the scene looks.
“In a crime-ridden and racially charged environment, Barry finds himself pulled between various social spheres and struggles to maintain a series of increasingly strained relationships with his Kansas-born mother, his estranged Kenyan father, and his classmates,” according to the film’s official description.
