Patrick Patterson Gives Update on if Meek Mill’s Music is Still Banned (Video)

When the Drake/Meek Mill beef reached it’s peak everyone from actors, singers, and athletes drew their battle lines in the sand and picked a side with the Toronto Raptors being no exception. Last January when Complex UK spoke with Patrick Patterson of the Raptors, the power forward replied:

“Meek Mill has been banned for a long time,” Patterson said. “No one plays Meek Mill.”

But luckily for Meek, or the Raptors depending on how you look at it, the Toronto locker room ban is null and void.

While catching up with Patterson on the team and other assorted topics, TMZSports.com asked Patterson if Meek Mill music is still banned from the locker room. This time Patterson had a different response.

Oh yeah, we do,” he said, when asked if the team ever listens to Meek Mill. “You seem to forget we have a guy from Philadelphia on the team. Yeah, you got people from Philly, so people from Philly tend to play Philly music. Myself, I still listen to Meek Mill.”

So Meek is welcome in the Raptors locker, or at least until Drake, the team ambassador, reads this story.
