I never thought I would see the day that Dwyane Wade would enter America Airlines Arena and have to use the visitors locker room. Wade was drafted by the Miami Heat with the 5th overall pick in 2003 and I’ve always felt he would be one of those old school type of guys that played his whole career with one team. There were many ups and a few down but after 13 seasons, Wade decided to leave the team he built for the city that raised him. Wade is now a member of the Chicago Bulls and despite rumors of a bitter breakup with Pat Riley, the Heat still showed love for Wade with a tribute video.
Thank you for 13 unforgettable years, @DwyaneWade! pic.twitter.com/K5LcGLbZbv
