Joe Rogan was wlaking through the airport, where most sports interviews seem to go down in 2016, when he was asked about Ronda Rousey & Conor McGregor’s stardom.
Like he often does, Rogan went off on a tangent that led him to discussing Rousey’s latest comments regarding her next fights being her last.
Rogan didn’t hold back when expressing how he feels about Ronda’s mindset heading into UFC 207.
“It’s exciting to see her to come back if she wants to come back, but whenever someone starts saying a couple more fights and then I’ll go into movies, I go, Man, I don’t like hearing that,” said Rogan.
Honestly, Rogan feels how most people did when they heard those comments. Ronda has her eye on the future but there’s a very capable woman waiting to punch her in the face in the present.
Only time will tell if the perceived lack of focus hinders Ronda’s performance. As for Rogan, he had a lot more to say about Ronda’s return and Conor McGregor’s star power.
