RHOA viewers watched last week as Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams discussed Phaedra re-entering the dating world once her divorce from Apollo Nida was finalized. Well, it looks like her prison bae beat her to the punch. The divorce proceedings lasted more than two years with Parks confirming the finalization just last week.
According to TMZ, Nida is engaged despite being behind bars. Nida began dating his fiancée 2 years ago, before starting his prison sentence, and the two got engaged a few months ago. She lives close to the federal prison Nida is housed in and visits him twice a week.
The couple has shot scenes for RHOA and the episode(s) will air this season. Producers are trying to conceal her identity until then. While Phaedra and the mystery woman will not appear in any scenes together, viewers will see Phaedra’s reaction to the relationship.
The drama will be a welcome break from the squabbles between Kenya Moore and Sharee Whitfield over whose home will be completed first.
