Joel Embiid has shown some promise for the Philadelphia 76ers this season, and he clearly wants to help this franchise. Today that was shown as Embiid was pulled in the 2nd overtime against the Memphis Grizzlies. A team doctor was seen explaining to Embiid that he went past he minutes he was restricted to play.
After a conversation that apparently didn’t go so well Embiid kicked a chair after bein told he could not re-enter the game. It’s good to see a young player ready to get back on the court to help his team, but he has to realize that this is better for him and the team doctor are doing what’s the best for his health.
