Two people are dead, two more seriously injured after a shooting following Meek Mill’s concert in Connecticut on Friday night.
The show held at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut — had just ended when Meek Mill and his Dream Chasers crew were trying to leave.
That’s when shots rang out according to Billboard.
A Wallington Police spokesperson told Billboard they were responding to an active incident and not confirming any information as of press time.
Police were said to have responded to reports at 11:15 p.m. of gunshots being fired at the venue, located on 95 S. Turnpike Road. One Twitter user reported a large police presence on the scene. A shooter is not believed to be in custody.
According to The Record Journal, one person was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, while another was brought to Hartford Hospital, both with non-life threatening injuries.
Wallingford police are currently investigating the shooting but have not announced any suspects or motive.
