A familiar team is hoping to connect, or reconnect, with Washington Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson this offseason. After this season, Jackson will be an unrestricted free agent and the Philadelphia Eagles plan to make a play for the speedy wideout.
Jackson started his NFL career in Philly where he made 3 Pro Bowl appearances before signing with the Redskins prior to the 2014 season. The Skins are unlikely to use the franchise tag on the veteran while Jackson and Eagles coach Doug Pederson are mutual admirers of one another.
The two teams meet for the second time this season next week.
