The Dallas Cowboys are facing the hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday night, this is a important game for both teams as they try to gain some edge in their respective divisions.
WR Mike Evans is having a great year so far as he leads he league in first downs with 68 of them. Owner Jerry Jones is aware of that as he knows that the Cowboys will have their hands full Sunday Night.
“I don’t think we’ll contain him,” Jones said Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan’s G-Bag Nation show [KRLD-FM]. “I think he will get catches. The quarterback will really throw the ball for long gains. That’s a real challenge.
“To me, that really separates this quarterback from the pack. He will throw that ball deep. He’s got a guy there that will go up and get it against always smaller, physically, defensive backs. That’s a heck of a weapon.”
This game will be fun to watch, as the Bucs look take the division away from the Atlanta Falcons. On the other side, the Cowboys look to get back on the winning side as they took their first loss to New York Giants in 11 games. The Giants are the only team to beat the Cowboys this season. This game will simply come down to who wants it more.
