Rapper Lil Uzi Vert starred in the recent episode of “Sneaker Shopping” with Complex, where he spoke about various things like his upbringing, what sneakers he wore in high school, his style and more.
One of the rapper’s top songs is “Do What I Want,” which was featured in a Russell Westbrook Jordan Brand commercial that went viral.
Uzi was asked if Jordan Brand or Westbrook contacted him about it, or how he found out about his song being used in the commercial. The answer was pretty surprising.
“Man I found out when you found out.”
